From Dea Riley’s personal statement:

While there I learned the skills that would define me professionally but what most defines me, as an individual is the responsibility of my children.

Linguistically, there’s shooting someone in the head…then, there’s a multiple stabbing by butter knife, and Dea Riley took all the road less-traveled…and that has made all the difference:

While there, I learned the skills that would define me professionally. What most defines me most, however, is the responsibility of rearing of my children.

If Gatewood has anything that might help someone focus on something for a longer period of time…something to help her think a little more before she writes something…maybe he should bring that out…

I’ll be there, live-Tweeting that shiz, so check it out on the ole Twitter Machine here on Saturday.

Here’s who will also be there:

Picnic chairman Mark Wilson said it might not be quite as hot this year — although he expects the rhetoric to be warm with candidates for the U.S. Senate scheduled to speak. Democrats Daniel Mongiardo, Jack Conway and Darlene Fitzgerald Price and Republicans Trey Grayson, Rand Paul and Bill Johnson are either running for or considering running for the U.S. Senate seat of Republican Jim Bunning who announced Monday he will not seek re-election in 2010. Grayson is expected to formally declare Friday night in Gilbertsville at a Republican barbecue dinner.

Gov. Steve Beshear will not be there, but his new running mate, Louisville Mayor Jerry Abramson will, venturing into conservative, rural Kentucky for the first time as a statewide candidate. Abramson is not speaking, just working the crowd beforehand. (Beshear is on vacation and his staff said he did not want to take any attention away from the Senate candidates.)

I’ll try to cause as much trouble as I can. With Paulbots, Mystery Trey, Mongiardo MTR Goons, and political hacks of all stripes there, it should be a very easy task.

Stay tuned!

I’m really trying scrape up any reason that this is a good idea, or that this will work. If anyone can help me out here, I’d appreciate your input.

Prediction: the Stumbo vs. Beshear primary battle is coming. And it will be bloody. Very.
