SHE WON'T GO!
As we mentioned last night, Andy Barr’s second campaign against Ben Chandler ended almost as soon as it began, with Barr coming out 100% in favor of Paul Ryan’s plan to kill Medicare.
And Ben Chandler made sure of that this morning, releasing this statement:
“Next year voters will have a very simple choice to make: whether to protect and save Social Security and Medicare, or to end them. Even though so many hardworking Kentuckians depend on Medicare and Medicaid, Andy Barr admitted this week that he supports ending them. Our 2010 campaign focused on protecting these programs, and I am prepared to continue that fight. Andy Barr is back with the same radical agenda, and I will do everything I can to stop it.”
