Ben Chandler’s Response to the SOTU Vote Against Himself

January 26, 2011
By David M. F. Schankula

Congressman Chandler put out some sort of response to the SOTU… but I just can’t seem to locate it.

In lieu of his press release response, let us look at his actions.

Earlier today, just hours before the SOTU, Chandler joined 16 conservative Democrats in voting with the unanimous Republican majority to hand unilateral financial power over non-Defense spending to one single member of the House.

Chandler’s vote exponentially empowers Congressman Paul Ryan… who just finished delivering the GOP response to the President of the United States. So, I guess that’a pretty good indication of whatever Ben Chandler’s official response actually was.

The vote could cost 600,000 jobs.
